Influencer Gifting Email Templates That Get Replies

Jun 2, 2026 · 2 min read

Email works well for creators who list a business address, and it gives you more room than a DM. The rules are the same: short, specific, easy to say yes to. Here are four templates to adapt, not paste verbatim. Always swap in a real, specific detail about the creator in the first line.

When email beats a DM

Use email when a creator publishes a business or PR address, when your message needs a link, or when you want a paper trail. Use a DM for creators who clearly live in their platform inbox. Many brands try the DM first and fall back to email.

Template 1: first outreach

Subject: a little gift from [Brand]

Hi [Name], I came across your [specific post or series] and loved [specific detail]. I run [Brand], we make [one-line product]. I would love to send you [product] as a no-strings gift, with no obligation to post. If you would like it, just reply with your address. Either way, keep up the great [their thing].

Template 2: the follow-up, 4 to 5 days later

Subject: re: a little gift from [Brand]

Hi [Name], floating this back to the top of your inbox in case it got buried. The offer still stands, [product] on us, no strings. A quick yes or no is totally fine.

Template 3: after they say yes

Great! To get it out to you, could you send: 1) your shipping address, 2) any allergy or preference I should know about, 3) the handle to tag if you do end up posting. No deadline and no obligation. I will send tracking once it ships.

Template 4: a gentle nudge after delivery

Hi [Name], hope the [product] arrived safely and you are enjoying it. No pressure at all, but if you do share it, a tag and a quick #gifted disclosure would mean a lot. Happy to answer any questions.

The one rule that beats any template

A single specific detail in the first line outperforms any clever subject line. If you personalize only one thing, personalize that. And whenever a creator posts a gifted product, remember that US rules require a clear disclosure, so make #gifted or #ad easy for them to include.
